Arrived with a screw missing and rattling around inside the electronics
5 June 2013
Summary: Purchased 6/2013 for $386 total. The first thing I noticed is the camera rattled when I moved it around. I also noticed that one of the four screws in the battery compartment that hold the camera together was missing.
Summary: I did have a lot of trouble getting the product to work initially and even had to send it to California for repair. That being said, once I got it back I really enjoy it. The picture quality is good, and once it gets set up the 1-button record is nice.
Summary: It's a decent little video camera, but too simple in certain areas and too complicated in others. If you want to get really into it, you're going to have to buy a bunch of little add-ons like an lcd screen for the back, improved water proof case, tripod etc.
Summary: The GoPro HD Hero2 camera is great but I have had problems with the bicycle handlebar mount. Since getting the camera I have used it 28 times on my Specialized Roubaix road bike and have had the mount break three times. That's an average of about 8 rides between breaks.
Summary: All the packaging looked brand new but after i took the camera out of the clear housing the camera itself had a ding near the shutter button. It also had a little dirt on the back but that could just have been dust. I tested the camera and it worked fine but still debating if i should send it back.
