Summary: Update: My Hero 2 suffered from the firmware failed (Just Google: Hero2 dead)This is yet another reason to be very very careful buying any GoPro for diving. It failed first day out on a diving vacation. "Nice GoPro...real nice....." Google Link: [...] Less than 2 weeks after buying the whole kit ($575) GoPro came out with Hero 3. The sales manager at GoPro (Nelson) said Sorry "we did not know until the day before".
Summary: Opened the package and followed directions to turn on camera. Could not get it to work. Everytime I try to call GoPro for support there is no answer and I get the message that there call volume is too high and to call back later.
Summary: i just came back from a long trip and unfortunately i was not able to use the Gopro i purchased due to being defective I'm completely dissatisfied with your product and the quality of your products. The camera reaches a very very high temperature after 2 minutes on, and makes impossible to film creating condensation in the water proof caging being in the ocean makes it impossible to constantly take it out of the caging cleaning the condensation and putting the camera...
THERE ARE MUCH BETTER WATERPROOF CAMERAS OUT THERE. GOPRO IS A GIMICK

Summary: GOPRO OWES ITS SUCCESS TO THEIR MARKETING DEPT. THE CAMERA DOESNT PUT OUT THE QUALITY YOU WOULD EXPECT EVEN WITH A CLASS10 SD CARD. BLOTCHY AND PIXLATED IMAGES...PLUS GOPRO IS A DIFFICULT COMPANY TO WORK WITH. 2 THUMBS DOWN!!
Summary: Despite the nice footage that GoPro has on their website of this camera shooting gorgeous underwater scenes, the camera I received was unable to focus on anything underwater: case was clean, all was working, photos and videos just became blurry messes in even the shallowest, clearest water. This product is falsely advertised and marketed.
Summary: Just received my new camera and the battery is not working. I tried everything, including removing the battery and SD card, charge it with and without SD card, both on a powerline and a computer but it still did not work. The battery is not charging. I can only turn on the camera when it is connected to a power source.
Summary: Due to Gopro's extremely poor customer service, I have returned both the Silver and Black edition...GoPro really need to work on their customer service. When I first got the Silver edition and Black edition, I attempted to copy all the files to my camera's SD card at the root folder, I received the following error message: "The disk in drive E is not formatted. Do you want to format it now? Yes or No.
Summary: I've used my Hero2 camera twice and it's been nothing but problems both times. I have it mounted on my snowmobile helmet and would like to use it to record video while riding then take scenery photos in between. I've taken numerous pictures with it and they all turn out looking like blue/orange "static". It takes good pictures when I'm at home in my living room but when I'm outside and the camera is cold the pictures never turn out..
