Summary: I got this for my husband for his birthday, and he loves it. He used it while snorkeling in Maui and scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. He has yet to use it for motor sports, but he uses the head strap when he's in the water. We got great footage of sea turtles.

Summary: I was all set to purchase the GOPRO Hero 3 when I saw the reviews indicating some issues with the software. While I like to have the latest, I didn't want to waste my time trying to update the software, contact customer service etc.
Summary: GoPro's are not 'just' cameras. Combined with Youtube, they are the singularity of a new age of videoagraphy. When I received mine, the sheer versatility of the device boggled my mind. Most people get their GoPro for their personal vice... extreme sports, diving, racing, etc.
