Summary: it is a good video camera, just not so much on the roads i live on :( maybe a go pro 3 would wourk better but not so sure i want to spend that kinda money. and it slipped out of my hand and hit the ground face down and the lens busted!!! no fault of the camera or the person i got it from. i called go pro and there is no repairing them so for the money i spent on the go pro to me it is not really worth it to spend $150+ on something that cant be fixed due to an accident.
Ok but if I were to purchase again I would get the model with remote

Summary: What a fun camera! My Husband purchased this for a trip to Hawaii and we had a great time watching some of our adventures. I actually found the price on ebay not all that good compared to the prices in the stores. In the after Christmas sales we could have purchased the newer model for the same price we paid ebay for the Hero Naked. Oh well, live and learn.
Summary: GoPros are fun. And this one is probably really cheap now that it's two generations behind. Pick it up if it fits your needs, otherwise grab the Hero 3 White edition (the cheapest one) and get more bang for your buck. Hopefully they improved the battery life. It barely lasts 2 hours, which I think is ridiculous given that it's supposed to be for adventures and I'm not normally near a charge station when I'm adventuring.
Summary: Camera came on time and works well. The only problem may be a design flaw but you have to hold the button down for a few sec to get it too record or stop recording. Other than that the camera works fine.
"excellent video produced but bugged by serious issues"

Pros: excellent HD video waterproof shockproof loads of mounts
Cons: Often had problems with internal systems locking up, not registering memory cards, or not recording even after you started to record! Very infuriating to use. LCD interface difficult to understand and manual pretty hopeless.
