Summary: Camera worked out of the box, but then stopped working a week or so later. Went back and forth with GoPro many (at least 6) times via phone and email. They offered many fixes, but ultimately nothing worked. It is not the battery, camera itself is dead. Ultimately requested my money back.
Summary: I bought this camera for a xmas gift and had it gift wrapped by Amazon - upon gift being received it had appeared that the GoPro packaging had been opened before due to the poor taping job and assembly which meant that it likely wasn't factory new.
Summary: I ordered it by mistake while I wanted GoPro Hero 2. Tried to contact the seller for a return, but no response at all. The product seemed also defective in that the recorded video was too dark indoors.
Summary: Got a Hero 2 for Christmas and it just kept freezing up on me. I used a high quality SD card that I use in my SLR camera so that should not have been an issue. Upon further investigation, I learned that there were A LOT of people having this same issue.
Summary: I bought this camera to use on off-road single track rides and adventure races. It worked once on my road bicycle commute,but has not worked since then. Customer support has suggested changing battery types without any difference in performance. It just will not stay on in a bumpy environment.
