Summary: Camera worked out of the box, but then stopped working a week or so later. Went back and forth with GoPro many (at least 6) times via phone and email. They offered many fixes, but ultimately nothing worked. It is not the battery, camera itself is dead. Ultimately requested my money back.
Summary: This thing seems to work better than the Hero 3 that three of my friends have. They have battery issues and application issues and know this, the remote app will not work if the camera is even a couple inches under water.
Summary: This has so far been the most wonderful gift I have given. My boyfriend is quite the outdoorsy type, and has filmed on land, air, and sea in the short span since he has received the GoPro, and loves to get footage for out of town family. Great product!!! I definitely would recommend it.
Summary: Go Pro really did well with these camera's. Stability is great vs. the competitors give the time these came out, however transitions from dark to light could be better. I've heard the Hero 2 fixed this and the Hero 3 did even better.
Summary: Picture was graet and wide enough to capture a very large area. The batter is great a lasts for several flights on a full charge. the menu is somewhat confusuing but once you get it, it should b ok. it is a good value for money only if you get a used one for a good price.
Summary: I got the "budget" GoPro. I have used it for fishing, driving, at concerts, on the motorbike; all over the place. I use a simple editing program and have made some great little movies. I love it.
