Summary: Fairly frequently I'll post a video. Some are better than other, depending on the shot I made. The video camera I use is a Flip video. I got it for $75 or $80 a few years ago. They're listed( new) on Amazon now for from $250- almost $400, which is nuts. Cisco discontinued Flip manufacture back when I first heard of it and bought mine. They did it for a good reason: unreliable manufacture.
Excerpt: This video camera is really good. It's nice because it's small and very easy to use and has the flip USB port so you can hook it right up to your laptop or desktop computer. The one I have only records up to 30 minutes. The only thing is I'm not sure how much better it records compared to a regular digital camera... The videos look like the videos on my digital camera.
Excerpt: To start with, I got the flip camcorder as a promotional gift from TD bank by opening a checking account with their manhattan branch. I read few reviews and since I didn't have any camcorder I went on with the offer. The flip camcorder is very light and does it job effectively but somehow I don't like it.
Summary: It's bulky and eats AA batteries like candy. The video quality is nice, though. I will be returning this and spend a little more money for a better quality camera. This one feels like a toy. It's great for a kid if you are worried about it getting broke. Also, it doesn't have a flash to take videos at night which is bad.
Summary: "Power up with the included standard AA batteries. And for even better charge time, try using the Flip Video Rechargeable Battery Pack [sold separately]" This is the quote that I took off the Amazon website for this camera. So I bought the Flip Video Rechargeable Battery Pack (separately) when I bought the Flip UltraHD Video Camera, but it does NOT work with this camera. Not only does it not work, it doesn't even fit into the battery compartment.
Summary: this was my first camcorder, and i must say that it takes wonderful quality videos!! can zoom, great for vlogging and everything like that. the only problem that i have is that it does. not. focus. whenever i hold anything up to the camera its all blurry and it has really been getting on my nerves. this isn't a big deal for some people, but if its important, do not get this camera!!!
Summary: I thought this camera would make it easy to take out and video my kids all the time...it does, but I don't like to use it. The major setback which I don't like, is that every time you stop filming and then start again, it makes a new clip, whereas with a camcorder, it's one continuous video. So when I download the videos from this, I will have a bunch of short videos. I'm not liking that. Also, sometimes, there is a red pixel on the screen, sometimes hard to ignore.
