Summary: The DXG-587C Camcorder is by fart the best you can get for the price. Outstanding 1080p quality video and good 12MP photos for around $100 is awesome. At 7.5 mins per 1G you cannot ask for more. I like the 360 degrees LCD screen and the integrated light. Great value overall. Go for it!
Summary: Got this Camera used from Amazon. Was about 114$. Came in the original packaging with no signs of any sort of use. It's very light weight. The video quality is actually better than expected, with maybe a slightly more than modest expectation. It's got a nice charging mechanism with a very thin battery (probably why it has almost no weight to it). The LDC display turns and can close facing outward.
Summary: We used this camcorder to video our band playing inside a night club. The camera was set up on a tri pod just next to the sound booth. The lighting on stage was really good and and the video looked great! The nice part of this camera is that you dont lose any video quality while zooming.
Exactly what you would expect for this low of a price.

Summary: My dad wanted a full HD camcorder for around $150, I looked all over and compared several models of compact camcorders before finally settling on this one. Pros: - Good quality video, although a tad bit grainy. Really though, it's very much above acceptable. - Supports up to 16GB SDHC, which is basically a requirement for HD camcorders. - No lag when paired with a good quality class 10 SDHC card. - Easy to understand controls.
Summary: I bought this camcorder for my daughter. It has some nice features. Descent video quality outdoors. The built in video editing was difficult to use, but most of the editing was done on a computer anyway, This camcorder had grainy video with indoor lighting and had difficulty focusing. Could not do close ups from 3 feet away. Since this was mainly going to be used indoors, had to return it.
