Summary: The rechargeable batteries never did hold a charge, so we had to use disposable ones. Then, in less than a month, the camcorder started to lose function, and by the end of 2 months, it completely stopped working. A total waste of our money, and a big disappointment for our child. Don't buy any products from this manufacturer.
Summary: this is the second one we rereturned to this company defective. the first one didnt turn on and this one the volume didnt work they are suppose to be new so Im not sure if its just a bad product the manufacturer did discontinue it
Summary: This camera is just fine. For $35 including shipping you get a camera that you can upload videos to the web. It does not take "still pictures". That was kind of disappointing. It takes 2 @ AA batteries. I use NiMH rechargeables. Taking videos inside requires you to have decent lighting. Buy a $5 memory card and $10 NiMh batteries/charger from the "big box" store and you are all set. It's a fun camera that you don't have to worry about breaking.
Summary: The picture quality is very good for the price and it couldn't be easier to use. The only thing is that I don't think it would survive a drop...the construction of the camera is not very sturdy. Other than that, loving it!
Summary: My wife wanted this camera for her birthday. I thought, for $50, we wouldn't get much more than a toy. Boy was I surprised. I shoot weddings with a $3000 Sony VX2100. Because this camera is HD, it has a better picture than my Sony. It doesn't have the features my Sony has but for $50 this camera is terrific. The DXG shoots on to a SD card and not tape which makes it easy and very fast to capture the video into my computer for editing.
Summary: This camera was cheap so I bought it. Some of the videos I took were extremely poor. In daylight, but indoors, the HD mode was so grainy (like ISO800) that I didn't feel like keeping the camera. So I returned it for a full credit. National Deals is a good seller, they were easy to communicate with and returned my money rather promptly. I wouldn't suggest this Camera to anyone.
Summary: Length:: 0:33 Mins We purchased this little camcorder over 5 months ago now from a Best Buy special for only $40. As some have stated, it did not come with the 2gb SD card or the Mini Tripod, but everything else was there including multiple sets of connection cords, rechargeable batteries (2 AA), charger, case and of course, the camcorder itself.
