Summary: All in all its a stable solid camera for home use, the actual image quality for photos is much higher than videos on this puppy, and can put out many a decent Photo, Its built in light is extremely powerful and makes filming in darker houses and locale quite easy.

Cons: Very Low Audio (It just doesn't pick up sounds well) Blurry Blotchy Video when using 720p and 1080p Zoom Deteriorates Image Quality Horrendously Doesn't Handle Fast Moving Objects Well At All.

Summary: I purchased this camera about a year ago to film my two little kids and all their silliness. The video quality on this camera is fantastic, though the sound does leave a little something to be desired- if you're behind the camera, the sound is crystal clear, if you're in front, not so much.
Summary: Recently had received a DXG 533V camera as a Xmas gift from a family member. It's a HD model sold via the Shopping Channel and pretty much the same unit as the 535 and 580 models. First impression out of the box was cheap plasticy and gimmicky.
Pros: Still picture quality is alright. Lithium battery life lasts about half an hour while recording.
Cons: Sound on video is virtually non-existent. I can't figure out where the mic is located, but the mic will pick up on jostling sounds any time the camera is moved. Summary: Nice camera. The only issue I have experienced is the battery charger. I have trouble placing the battery in the charger, kind of strange charger. Otherwise, the camera seems to take nice pictures and downloads are easy enough.
