Summary: 1st of all, the camera shipped was not what I ordered but didn't want to got to the hassle of returning it and ended up giving it to my kid. I can't remember the model number but it looked more like a video camera but does provide pretty good stills and video. 2nd - the scan disc card was defective and had to return. Once the new one came, all was well.

Summary: The value on the video camera is great. It's an HD video camera and it delivers. The only negative is the battery charger that came with the product. It didn't charge the battery. It is a separate unit so it does not affect the quality of the camera.

Summary: Tested three low cost HD camcorders: 1st: Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD100 2nd: DXG 569V Silver Ultra-Slim HD 3rd:Aiptek Action HD GVS 1080P to give you some background for reference. My primary objects for video are family and pets. I use iMovie and Studio8 for video editing. I have experience with other consumer HD cams such as the Canon HF100 and Panasonic SD100 both in a higher price class.
Summary: i like this product because you don't really need to be wasting time with CD/DVD. sounds really sucks. kinda ok sound. picture is very good. it's not top notch HD video. looks very good. if you want true HD buy something else. for the money , no problem. i still recommend it for the price . other then that if this thing was $500 bucks or more i would definitely say hell no. enjoy. !
Summary: Yes it works with MAC. I recently purchased a Mac Book Pro and have used my Canon SD 1000 to take video. The DXG HD Camcorder takes better video but don't expect superior 1080 video. I've used it indoors and outdoors. Indoors you have to play around with the settings. The video is nothing spectacular remember just how much you paid for this versus true HD camcorders.
