Summary: Does its purpose to a decent standard however anybody expecting exceptional quality over similar products around the drifts price range should think again. I will start with build quality which is one of the cameras good points, the camera is rugged and tough, buttons easy and clear to use and just overall package feels built for purpose.
Summary: Wish I had went for the 1080 version. Everything else is great with the camera just not as good quality as a go pro. Also the mounting is nto as articulate so the angle from a helmet cam can't be adjusted very well. Eneded up making my own bracket from ebay generic camera mounts.
Summary: Bought this over the more expensive higher resolution picture version and found it to be very satisfactory. Functions are basic and simple to operate. I use it on a motorcycle and in my car. Battery life isn't great - but it does manage to record two seventy minute journeys each day before needing recharged.
Summary: Chose this camera as it was considerably cheaper than the hero series. Basic functions, good quality, twistable lens very usefull. Only draw back is that you have to take the back cover off to charge, upload etc? Could also do witha safety hole that you can attach a small safety line to in case camera falls off if you dont use the securing screw.

Summary: I picked up this camera as i was testing out some cheaper alternatives to the GoPro. Thought the price and the reviews were good so got one, Now i climb builings etc as a hobby so i didn't know how much damage this camera could take from lets say a fall.. but oh boy when the camera fell and ended up rolling of my roof.. it survived! with only a few scratches, as promised here is video proof: [...
Summary: Received in quick time through Amazon, but when unwrapped had my suspicions that this had been opened before, anyway carried on setting up then I released why this had been opened, someone had sent it back with a fault, would not charge, only with cable attached, and set up in Italian, so it has been returned promptly.
Summary: This camera was a shot in the dark for me, considering I knew nothing much about the market. Now I have it, I'm 100% on my purchase. The video quality is very good (you can see the AA on big screens, but nothing terrible) - and it's just built to last. Sound quality is practically nonexistent, but then so is the competition. The videos produced by this camera are great, and the panorama view is a nice addition.
Summary: Received the camera super quick. The Drift HD720p is an ideal camera for placing on the handle bars of the bike, set 30 second time lapse and forget about it. Used one in South Africa in March having just bought it. Even though only five mega pixels it takes great pictures. The video quality is also to notch. This purchase is to replace that camera that was stolen as such you can see I rate this camera highly.
Summary: It's a nicely packaged device with an intuitive user interface and a very useful LCD screen. The remote control is a great idea. However I'm not that impressed with the video quality which is no better than a decent camera phone. The biggest problem is the exposure control which seems to hunt continually and has a tendency to burn out highlights. There is exposure compensation but this can cause problems with under exposure. I am running the latest firmware 10.1.18.
