STEP 1- BUY NEW BATTERY, THROW OUT ONE FROM CREATIVE
9 April 2013
Summary: I have read plenty of reviews and threads talking about this being a great camera when it actually turns on (go figure:)) When I first bought it I had low expectations due to several reviews said it was a 'good value'. Almost immediately I had problems with it turning on unless it was plugged into via USB (doesn't seem practical to plug in a mini-cam to USB before using each time-lol) Nonetheless I trudge through usage holding down the power button and double clicking...
Summary: I purchased the VADO HD a while ago and still use it to this day. It might not the most up-to-date mini video recorder out there but it has some nice features. WHAT I LIKED: HIGH DEFINITION Too bad it’s only 720P instead of FULL HD 1080P. I guess 720P is better than non-HD. SIMPLE TRANSFERS & CHARGING Charging & transferring videos and pictures is unbelievably simple. You just pull out the built-in USB adapter and plug it in.
Decent SD video quality and convienent;Poor quality construction

Summary: The camera will not power off at all until I take the battery out. This unit lasted roughly 2years before having that problem.Creative Labs product have given me problems in the past.I had a speaker system that hissed and pop and then failed all within 2months.
Never worked, couldn't return to Amazon and Creative said I was past replacement time

Summary: This was a gift, so I didn't know until after the person I gave it to tried to use it, that it didn't work. I purchased a black one as well, that did work. Apparently the battery is bad. This was a huge disappointment to the child who received it, and was basically out a present for Christmas.
Summary: Love my Vado! This replaced the Vado that broke when I dropped it. Small, convienent, easy to use, great for those times you just happen on a neat set up you want to film. Great to keep in the car in case of accident! Easy download is a snap!
