Summary: What a huge disappointment. My daughter was going to use this for a school project. The camera worked the first couple times that she used it, very briefly, and hasn't worked since. I had already bought many of the added accessories, so it was a huge waste of money.
Summary: I ordered the Vado on October 1st as a Christmas present for my husband. I tried to return the defective Vado to Amazon.com. I tried to return the Vado unit because the unit was defective and the buttons on the unit wouldn't even function correctly. Unfortunately, I learned that the return window expired on November 12th, 2011 at Amazon.com. My husband tried to receive customer support directly from the manufacturer of the Vado, Creative Labs. What a nightmare!
Summary: I ordered this just for creating YouTube videos however sent it back within an hour of receiving it. The touch controls are so terrible it was almost impossible to adjust the settings and use the camera at all. Once I finally got it setup and recording I noticed the LCD doesn't even show the entire recorded field of view which makes it difficult to make sure everything you need is in the cameras view.
Summary: if i could charge it then i could use it, i have ordered a wall charger to see if that resolves the issue. the camera only works when attached to the computer which is a ridiculous way to use it. it will not charge on a mac or pc usb connection. attempting for the 4th time to charge it using express mode. if the wall charger does not allow the device to fully charge then i will return all items ASAP!
Summary: Purchased one 3rd. Generation Vado HD pocket camcorder which looked fine, recommended by PC World Magazine worked for 10 minutes during testing and then went dead. Did all the right things like re-charging, taking battery out and replacing same etc.. But that was it. Also heaven help a non-techie from trying to arrange the settings etc. because the operation lit which came with the product is minimal. Also Creative labs on line were not helpful at all.
Unintuitive, lousy buttons and so-so picture quality

Summary: I am an expert what it comes to gadgets and technology. I have had many digital cameras, camcorders, camera phones and so much more over the years. This is the most unintuitive and hard to use device I can remember. FIRST IMPRESSIONS Upon opening the cheap feeling packaging, I found the camera to have a cheap look and feel, but maybe that's after being used to iPod Touches and iPhones.
