Summary: I have had this for about a week now and am quite pleased with it. I have it set at the default of 720p and 30fps and even though that is it's 'lowest' setting it is quite good. I have mounted it to the inside of the windshield in my car underneath the rear view mirror and the 170 degree viewing angle captures a lot. I like how I can rotate the lens so the video will always be right side up regardless of the angle the camera is mounted.
Summary: i bought this to use in my paintball games but the thing is it is a very versatile cam.. the casing will allow me to take it down with me as i scuba dive, or may even protect it as i ski.. and eventhough its not the latest edition and doesnt shoot 120 frames in hd.. hey i got this cam in case it breaks.. but hey its real durable and tough :D the rotating lens is a charm... i can mount it wherever and however i like.. to the left to the right side ways etc...

Summary: I got this to start recording personal events/activities such as watersports, snowboarding, biking, airsoft, ect. Works great so far as expected for the price. The only reason it is 4 stars and not 5 is I have yet to be able to download the storyteller app to adjust settings through that, but that is not the product's fault, I had found out that Contour went out of business before I had purchased this so the site is inactive.
I would highly recommend to my friends. Excellent price and a great product

Summary: Wanted to wait to review it after I had a few mud runs under my belt and have to say I couldn't be happier. Excellent picture quality during the day as well as sound. Best purchase for me hands down. I haven't used it at night or low light however because I bought it to use for daytime activities.
Summary: I have compared footage side by side with the GoPro hero and find them very equal. The Contour however is so much easier to use! I get 10 times the footage with this camera compared to my GoPro!
Summary: I just returned from a 2,500 mile motorcycle trip on which I used the ContourROAM daily, and am generally pleased with the camera, but it has several issues that you should be aware of. 1) I was only able to record approximately 7 hours of 720p video using the 32GB SD card that came with the kit. This is far short of the advertised 12 hours for 720p and even short of the advertised 8 hours for 1080p.
Summary: I purchased this camera on June 10th 2013 and it was defective out of the brand new box. I contacted this seller and got no response so I contacted Contour. They replied same day and said they would replace it. I had to pay the shipping back to Contour but I had no other choice. As soon as I shipped it off, I never heard another word from Contour. After repeated attempts at contacting Contour through their Web Site, I decided to try their Facebook page.
Summary: I was debating between the contour and the gopro. i had planned on purchasing the gopro until reading reviews and many concerns about the quality control. i have used older versions of the gopro and contour in the past and have been happy with both. my general feeling is the the gopro is smaller and nice for mounting on things like bike handle bars, kayak hulls, ect. The countour is larger but a slimmer profile which mounts nicely on the side of helmets.
Summary: Overall, this video camera is an exceptional deal for the price. I paid $110 for this shipped right to my door. That included did not include the micro SD card, but no camera comes with one of those. If you're looking for a nice 1080P action video camera without a bunch of bells and whistles, this one is for you. This is last year's ROAM model. You have to plug it into a computer to make any adjustments (i.e. video quality, microphone sensitivity, etc.).
