Summary: This is the third Contour I have purchased, the first was the original GPS model, then a Roam 2 and now this model. I really hate to see Contour stop producing these cameras. I will probably try to buy a couple of more while they can still be found. I use these cameras as dash cams in my Dodge and my Jeep. I use the Roam 2 to shoot video in the mountains.
Summary: I bought this primarily to record motorcycle track days with (Ducati 1098). With a quick visit to Rammount I was able to get everything I need to mount it almost anywhere. However I was having a problem my first time out. It would turn on in the pits but then when I got back the camera would be off. All of the files would be small in size and come up as corrupt.
Summary: I bought the Contour+2 to use while flying. My setup is a RAM suction mounting system with a 1/4-20 tripod style mount along with an ATR-3350 miniature mic small enough to comfortably fit inside the earcup of an aviation headset. The mic also needs a stereo to mono 3.5mm adapter for compatibility with the Contour's input jack. Sony Movie Studio Platinum Suite 12 is currently my editor of choice to put together mp4 files to upload to Vimeo.
Summary: My son uses this for skiing. It takes great movies, is easy to use and does not get in the way of chairlift bars. We probably bought too much of a camera and the Contour Roam would have been sufficient for every day use. Never the less its a great camera.
Summary: This new Contour+2 with the Bluetooth is really nice for setting up videos. I have the surfboard mount and put magnets on it to video my softball kids pitching and hitting. Regular factory lens is good only for closeup action, but, with a different 12mm lens from ragecams.com installed turned this camera into a great hunting and sports video camera. No problems at all yet, when I get to the trails the GPS will be fun to try out.
Light, Packed, looks pretty cool, good quality picture

Summary: I just received my camera and started using it. Looks pretty cool, feel alright about having it on my helmets or bike or car. doesnt look weird at all!! The picture quality is pretty good. VERY easy to use and setup. The big switch on top of it makes it really easy to use. Unfortunately, the mounts coming with the camera itself were not the ones I needed, so I ordered the "Motor Mount Package" so it covers the "Outdoor Package" too somehow!
