Summary: I paid a small fortune for this camera because it had a GPS on it. I wanted to use it to track the speed of my motorcycle on the race track. That never quite worked out. The GPS inside the camera is entirely too slow to update. It would show me at full 100mph+ speeds well after I had applied the brakes and was in a turn. I also put up with the fact that you can't get any decent mounts for this camera because of it's odd shape. There's not really a lot out there.
Summary: I purchased this product in June 2013. It worked great without a problem then last month the battery would not take a charge. I assumed this was that the battery had failed so I purchased an additional battery, same issue. I sent Contour an email requesting support and after two weeks no response. Now when you access their web site it gives you a message that their Sales Force DESK free trial has expired.
Summary: Warning, Contour went out of business in August. Software needed to update the camera, set the time and recording options in not available anymore since their website has pulled all downloads.
