Summary: If you want a video camera that makes everything dark, even if you have a light right on top of the camera, or one that catches the tiniest puff of sound, then this is the right camera for you. I bought this camera, hoping I could make small cheap movies with it, and that's exactly what it did. I captured several movies on it, and almost none are saved to my computer because of the provided software. It is impossible to use.
Summary: Satisfied. I like the size of the camera, making it easy to maneuver and carry. I like the flexible screen to view pictures. I wish it had a flash because certain lighting makes the pictures and videos hard to view. I am also having problems with the delay click in the picture mode, sometimes missing poses of dogs and cats. I do enjoy the video feature and the sound is really clear for what I need.
Summary: this unit doesn't work well unless there is really good lighting. I mean like outside on a sunny day lighting. So it would be good for those that want to use it for the kids games, it wouldn't work well for the kids plays.
Summary: The quality is not bad at all for the price, but the joystick's ok button failed in about 4 months with my 8 year old son using it. I didn't realize it, but the warranty on this product is 90 days. Will likely replace with a higher priced and hopefully more durable unit.
Summary: Bought this camera with the gift card my parents gave me for my birthday, I use it for making my youtube videos that are very popular with the kids in my school, and I'm planning on upgrading come Christmas. The big problems I have with it: No place for a tripod, grainy pictures, you have to have a ton of light, and you have to take video from quite a bit of distance. A good starter camera for students, but definitely plan on upgrading.
Summary: Took this camera on our cruise. It was good because of it's size, but when I developed the pictures, they were very poor quality. The picture was "grainy" and the colors were way off. My beautiful beach in Belize looked awful.
Summary: I read the reviews available before purchasing and everybody was right on the mark. Downsides are poor in low light and sound quality is low. You also have to have a steady hand or it's jerky. But, hey, for under $40 it does what it's supposed to. Great for kids just starting out. Great for those of us with little money but still want to record our lives and families. Love the portability and ability to just change batteries instead of having to wait for a new charge.
Summary: I have small hands and assumed this would be an easy camera for me to use but I keep dropping it! The controls are in a place that makes me flip it right onto the floor when I try to use it. Practice will help, I am sure & I hope I don't break it before I get used to it. The video is good the pictures are clear and the ability to easily download a video is nice.
It's worth the price you pay, don't expect high dollar quality.

Summary: I have a video review posted on youtube. The hyperlink is listed at the bottom. I will try to post more videos with this cam in different conditions to show it's performance. Why only 3 stars? 1) The arcsoft media impression 2 software included is totally worthless not to mention I emailed them 2 days ago via their tech support avenues and have yet to hear back from them. The software locks up and crashes every time you try to use it.
