Not Satisfied with the product!

malulielula, Ebay
15 August 2011
  • Summary: I was very excited to receive the Cannon ZR70MC however, the camera no longer works. The only thing I see on the camera is a black screen. I feel I just lost all my money and I feel very bad about buying this camera. I NEED HELP. Like another camera.

If it actually recorded in video I might have liked it. Sadly, NO.

  • Summary: On the surface it seemed like a decent camera, but my experience with it says pass this one buy. No positive recommendation, big disappointment.
  • Pros: Small, easy to use, large LCD panel
  • Cons: Poor workmanship/quality, non working and requiring expensive repair after a short time.

product recall

G. Belen "gina", Amazon
7 June 2006
  • Summary: yes, i've checked canon's website. if your digital camcorder or camera are having lcd display problems --blank or distorted--, canon will repair it free of charge, regardless of warranty status. just call thier customer support center @ 1-800-828-4040. they will cover shipping charges in connection with the repair. i have a zr60 digital camcorder & powershot a70 digital camera. both exhibit the same problem.

defective video camera, Zero stars if I could

Campbell, Amazon
4 July 2005
  • Summary: Our camera is just over two years old, well maintained, not heavily used, and is now useless. As is my mother's which is right at a year old. Same problem, which other reviewers have described: the CCD (video capture) fails. The camera can perform every other function except for taking video which is a little important in a video recorder.

  • Pros: It has a nice feature set and is very inexpensive
  • Cons: Broke 4 times in one year. They won't repair it even under warranty.
