Eating tapes

PB, Amazon
21 April 2009
  • Summary: My husband purchased this in early 2000 for a trip to Africa. It worked well back then, and it worked very well for our wedding in '04. He hadn't really used it since Africa, though.

Just wait yours will eat tapes too

Amazon
30 November 2003
  • Summary: All those that wrote great reviews about the camera will be back extolling how their camcorder now eats tapes. I've had my ZR-10 since Dec 2000 and now just in the last couple of weeks of Nov 2003 it is eating tapes and will not accept a brand new tape.

Worked for the 1st year, now eats tapes

Linda, Amazon
12 December 2002
  • Summary: I got this camera almost 2 years ago. I was very pleased with its simplicity and quality, which suited my weekend-homemovie-making needs. I have used it in Florida humidity and Nevada dusty desert with no problems.

I can't believe they call this a digital camcorder

nicole, Amazon
20 February 2001
  • Summary: The size is perfect. It's easy to use, once you figure it out. Also the special effects are cool. But when it comes to video quality--what a disappointment and the still pictures are terrible as well. Who wants a camcorder that looks good but doesn't perform well?

Bell and whistle dream- with a few flaws

Amazon
20 November 2000
  • Summary: I bought mine to replace a 5 year old Sony Hi-8. I was very impressed with the small size, recording quality, and the amount of bells and whistles that came with it. I was a little displeased with the zoom range of the lens. It dose not wide enough and shooting in tight spaces is difficult.
