Excerpt: Unfortunately, I experienced huge image noise problems with this camcorder. Even with custom settings, the image quality was not good. Here is an example: Custom picture set to the BBC Cine Mode (a custom picture setting for the Canon XF100 by BBC) . 50 MBit/s, 1920x1080, 24p, 1/48 shutter speed. 4000K white balance. Manual gain control/aperture set to -6/F1.8 or 0/F2.6 or 6/F3.4. Object: Living room with big windows on a bright, sunny day.
Pros: Good Image Stabilization
Cons: Complicated To Operate, Poor Image Quality, Poor In Low Light
