Excerpt: This is pretty much my favorite camera to work with. The HD video produced is beautifully sharp and crystal clear. My video production company uses only the Canon XF100 for all of our shoots. Whether it is a wedding or a marketing video our clients are always extremely pleased with the quality video they receive in the end.
Pros: Easy to Use, Great Picture Quality, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Zoom range/performance
Excerpt: I use this camera for my own work and have found it to be a top-notch item. I just bought 5 for my university. The only thing I don't love about it is that it is somewhat complicated to figure out at first, but then again, it is a pro camera!
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Image Stabilization, Great Picture Quality
Summary: Amazing Quality of Video clarity! Love it alot.. Needed to buy an external (RODE) microphone and needed to research the microphone features and adjustments to set the camera in for the external mic, Once i got that it works really good. Do buy headphones to check the sound quality and volume.
Excerpt: I use it for event (meeting) videography. The 4: 2: 2 color space is unreal and puts other cameras to shame as the results are nothing short of phenomenal. Proof-- compare video of the same event taken with lesser units. Ease of operation? Once you learn it it is, like every other thing, easy to use. Poor in low light? Depends on what you mean by "low" light. Will it take pictures in the dark? No, unless you use infra-red. Is the zoom limited?
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound, Large Clear LCD
Excerpt: This camera is easy to use, delivers decent footage under almost any circumstance, including low light. It is light weight and well built. I would've gotten a camera DSLR, but I don't have a lot of time to set up every shot or the patience to carry a lot of gear.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light
Excerpt: I didn't give this a 5 star rating only because nothing is perfect, although I havent come across anything I don't like so far. But here's the thing: LEARN to use this camera, not by reading the manual but by taking one of the great online courses available. There are many, but I subscribe to[@] and have taken a number of courses by Anthony Artis who is an outstanding teacher.
Pros: Good in Low Light, Great Picture Quality, Great Zoom
Summary: This is a great professional camera. The video quality is excellent. Besides, I have no problems with low light recordings. The only negative thing I have to say about it; the exterior microphone mount isn't very stable (only 2 screws that attaches the mount to the camera). From the touch of it, it feels like it can or may break off the camera. Also, the exterior microphone opening is too wide, I have trouble attaching my Rode NTG2 Microphone to it.
Summary: If you want a high-end camera that is an affordable entry into the foray of pro equipment THIS is your best value. I bought two of these and have been very impressed! They are holding up very well to all the elements and banging around I subject them to. 2-years, and still no problems with these cameras! Pro: TONS of customization options to set your button functions exactly where you want them. Quality low distortion lense. XLR and minijack audio inputs.
Excerpt: This camera is great it is my frist pro camera and a little complicated at first. I have only been using it for a couple of weeks and am getting to know most of the functions quickly. Can't wait to see what else this camera can do.
Pros: Easy to Use, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound, Large Clear LCD
