Summary: i guess i got the best bargain at costco today for $330 period - thought i might have to return it as they didnt let me look at from the glass case - but with their return policy i got anyway - and reading all the 2007 reviews i guess i got a great buy during this horrible down turn - maybe i can...
Summary: I've had this camera for a few months now and so far no problems. There have been many events captured in HD - recitals, ball games, birthdays, etc. I have been able to use cheap DVD's (available here at Amazon). It records in HD. Recorded media (8cm.
Summary: I got this at a cheaper price, but the quality is worth the price. It has features, that most other camcoders doesn't have. It uses a codec format, that stores HD media on non-HD media (like DVDs). Very Nice.
Summary: This cam does what it says. Pro's: can record onto mini-disc, compact full of the features you would expect from Canon. Con's: not perticularly fond of the AVCHD format as my DVD does not play this and converters of this format are few and far between. Other then that its a solid well build product.
Summary: I found the Cannon HR10 HD DVD Camcorder easy to use, so this would be good if buying a Camcorder for the first time. The 2.7" screen is so clear and the zoom is great for getting close to your subject.
Summary: Next day delivery. Very pleased with the Camcorder. For HD quality HD equipment is required. I also bought an additonal battery charger, this speeds up charging time against the built-in charger.
Summary: After a long search for dvd Camcorder I decided on the Canon HR10 - Perfect choice, it is very user friendly, compact and light. The quality is fantastic, recording straight onto dvd, perfect! I have used both dvd and camera functions, the quality of the still pics is fantastic!
