On a budget? Need low light performance? This is your best bet!

Summary: I have done research for the past 3 weeks on the Canon Vixia line of cameras. This came is 6 years old, but it still holds up against most cameras of today. The CMOS sensor on it is identical to the HF10, HF20 & HF21.
Summary: This camcorder is just great. Lightweight and great quality. Just be prepared to shoot High Def videos and have 100+MB for 1-min of recording!!! It's for sure one of the best of its kind in the market. I did an extensive research and I couldn't be happier with this camcorder.
Summary: I've had this camcorder for 7 months now and have been somewhat pleased with it overall. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is for some annoying issues I have with it. First off, you can only transfer your video clips if you have the power cord attached.
Summary: This seems to be a very good camcorder. There isn't much I can add to the professional reviews available at places like: cnet; retrevo; and camcorderinfo. I do wish that it came with a 12 Vdc power supply for the car (Canon says not to to use an inverter with the included 120 Vac supply).
Summary: Great camera loved using it on vacation, now I'm just trying to get my video to DVD I'm not very tecnologically minded so this could take me a while but hopefully once I figure it out everything about the camera would be perfect, it actually took better still photos than our high dollar digital...
Summary: Purchased this product for my mother birthday celebration party. Pictures and videos taken we're astonishingly clear in high definition. I did not give it a 5 star rating due to battery capacity.
Summary: Camcorder is very good. Video quality is excellent. There are two main issues: kit battery (just for 80 minutes of recording) and memory (just for 2.5 hours in highest quality mode). I bought a new battery, which is unfortunately bigger, and couple 16Gb memory cards.
Summary: Overall, this is an excellent 5 star camera. I bought it with the intent of recording in-car HD video at track events. Unfortunately, the OIS on this and other HD canon cameras interfere with the stability.
