Summary: I bought this camcorder to do some professional videos. I was very fortunate to get it for $449. Should have bought two of them. Basically, the S200, S20, S21 are the same camera. The S200 has no memory, the 20 has 32GB and the 21 64GB built in.
Summary: I got this on a great deal from Amazon. Have only used it one time, and works great. Looking forward to much more use. I bought it for our church to video the services. The face recognition feature is really good bc it helps it focus on the people and not other stuff.
Summary: I purchased this camera two months ago to replace and ancient Canon Mini DV Camcorder. As a Canon fan I wanted to go with this model since it has an 8.9 Megapixel still camera built in. In a pinch at any zoom it takes great still pictures with high enough quality to get 8 x 10 enlargements.
Summary: I purchased it for a trip to Hawaii; I want the best picture quality and I got it. I also buy an extra battery (BP-819), a charger (mandatory), a 32 GB memory card and the Canon SCA60 case (perfect fit) to get the full experience without troubles. For a new user like me, it was very easy to use.
Summary: This is a fantastic camera which takes amazingly clear videos that are totally true to life color. I have no regrets on this purchase. The other choice was the Canon HFs21 that only differs in storage capacity. The plan is to erase the memory after loading to my PC anyway, so not a problem.
Summary: I bought this to replace my Canon HV20 (HDV) camcorder. I was getting tired of tape-based technology & finally decided to make the plunge into tapeless. I am very pleased with my new HF S20. Image quality is spectacular - noticably better in HD on my widescreen TV than the HV20.
Summary: I have been using this Camcorder for a month now and am quite satisfied with it. I chose this product because I wanted a small, rugged camcorder with lots of features and very good video quality.
