Conclusion: Like the title says "as advertised". Camera performs as advertised...good quality videos for the price. You will need a back-up battery if you are using the camera for more than 90 minutes and the cost of a spare battery isn't cheap. Great camera, I would recommend it to anyone.
Pros: Good Low-Light Performance, Easy Computer Connectivity, Great sound/audio, Accurate, Vivid Colors, Compact Design, excellent image quality, durable, Good Software Compatibility, Ergonomic/comfortable to hold, easy to use
Conclusion: Great camera and great output. Bought it to stream but found out afterwards it can not. Overall A+ just writing a review to make sure someone else does not buy this camera to try to live stream.
Summary: I've been extremely frustrated by this camcorder right out of the box. There is a 1 page fold open pamphlet but no manual included. They expect you to go to their website to view the 200 page PDF file. Slow and frustrating! When I went to download the videos to the laptop it couldn't find them on the SD card. You hafta download a transfer utility as well. Instead of providing a cd you go to a secondary website. GOOD GRIEF!
Summary: I like the video quality, the wifi is a joke and worthless. No remote control ability when playing back video through the tv. Screen could be brighter when outdoors. Can't say it is better than cheaper models but overall I do like it.
Android App for Remote Control Does't work on current phone or tablets.

Summary: Apparently the CameraAccess Plus app only goes up to Android 4.2. My phone and tablet are 4.4, two revs higher than supported. I don't have any old phones or tablets so I can't use the remote control, which is why I bought this particular camera. This is a fraudulent representation on Canon's part.
