Excerpt: I first must say that this is not expensive or a lot of money, and you will get what you pay for. But, with some simple accessories, you can make this into a great camera. If you shoot for your online video channel, this is a great starter for you to use. This is especially true if you upload videos that you shot using your phone. But, like I said, you will want to accessorize this camera a bit.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Image Stabilization, Headphone jack, Microphone jack, Zoom range/performance
Excerpt: This unit is lightweight and super compact. I am actually using a lowepro lens case for it when it is not in my full bag. I went with this at a much lower price rather than the R52 with 32gig on board memory. I can purchase a few cards for the price savings. I have only toyed with it a bit so far so I can't fairly review all its features yet so far I am very pleased. I did purchase the Watson AC/DC charger along with an extra lithium Ion Battery.
Excerpt: I got this camera to use as a backup/remote camera for my YouTube videos. Camera works great and allows me to record in 1080p at 60fps. Also lets me record directly to MP4 format. The only con I have with this camera is the AGC is slow to recover. I do firearm reviews and demonstrations and once a gun is fired the AGC lowers the sensitivity of the mic which is not really a problem. The problem is that it is slow to return the sensitivity to normal after I am done firing.
Pros: Good Image Stabilization, Great Picture Quality, Large Clear LCD
Summary: I love this Camera. Its light, It has a decent battery life, The touch screen preforms very well, It has a mic input and the quality is just really awesome for a camera at this price. I would recommend it to anybody from Youtubers to just making family videos. I am a Youtuber infact and this camera has helped me alot. As a Youtuber i seriously recommend this Camera because it's one of the only cameras that has a Mic input thats not over $500 to $1000.
Summary: I was looking for a "Popular Priced" video camera that has a jack for an external microphone, and was sadly surprised as to how few cameras lack what to me is a basic feature! To me, not having a microphone jack on a video camera is like buying a car only to find it doesn't come with window glass--and that you can't even buy windows as an option. If you have had any experience with video cameras, you will be aware that the built-in microphone leaves a lot to be desired.
My two complaints: 'PHOTO' labeled on the screen to capture a photo; and the more you zoom, the more unstable it gets.

Summary: The camcorder is good, but not great. I was going through all of the instructions on how to photograph with the camcorder and, upon finding out, I wasn't too happy about it. So you pretty much have to click the 'PHOTO' button on the screen in order to take photos, which seems kind of ridiculous to me because I have to constantly touch the screen to click this small little caption labeled 'PHOTO' just to capture a photo when I think it'd b easier to have a button outside...
