Good quality for high lighting. bad for medium to low lighting.

Nathan, Amazon
17 October 2014
  • Summary: It has good quality and I'm happy with it for the most part. However, its recording abilities in low-light situations is pretty poor. My digital camera (Nikon Coolpix) records better in medium to low lighting better than this.

Good enough to capture some memories of our son

Safiya Stoffel, Amazon
17 July 2014
  • Summary: It's a decent quality camera, nothing completely shattering. Good enough to capture some memories of our son, but not sure if it's that much above the competition for the price point. Easy user interface.

Vaughn Hill, Amazon
3 June 2014
  • Summary: I purchased this camcorder for a video shoot so I can upload to the web. The camcorder works good in low light but looks better if you add some lighting. I shot my video using the daylight coming through the blinds in my living room and shot the second part of the video using 2 light stands from...

Not bad for a compact camcorder

Nancy Nguyen, Amazon
14 March 2014
  • Summary: This is a good camcorder. I purchased it for my mother. I think the only thing I hate about it is having to set my memory card for it and then I wouldn't be able to use my SD card with any other device I own or i risk deleting it. Other than that it's a cute little thing :)

Great Little Recorder

Qballrail, Amazon
23 January 2014
  • Summary: Bought to replace a Sony Digital 8 for compatibility reasons. Although it takes great video, easy to use, it would have been 5 stars if it had a light and night vision. Paid the same for the Sony several years ago and it was equipped with the light and night vision.

Good Camera

Soccer Dad ATL, Amazon
22 January 2014
  • Summary: Soccer dad needs to video kids games. Perfect - light, small, good picture quality, easy to use. For about $350, can't complain. Buy a couple of extra memory cards and an extra battery to last all day.

Good Camcorder but Controls need improvement

GRACIOUS IMBEAH, Amazon
18 December 2013
  • Summary: It's a good camcorder for a beginner, but its controls are too complex to use and maneuver around. It can easily be simplified, so that controlling it would not interfere with shooting a scene at the same time.

Good value for price. Needs a bit more manual control for those who are a bit more tech savvy.

Darren E Rice, Amazon
10 December 2013
  • Summary: Camera works well as a whole. The WiFi link is easy once it is set up. Some issues with too much distance and a fair bit of buffering when transferring images to the iPad at 3 seconds delay. Camera function great in normal light. When things get dark, the image becomes grainy.
