Summary: I bought it. We found out we could not use it for remote broadcast. We decided that we wanted to return it. We then found out that it was not returnable. If this information was posted clearly in the original ad, we never would have bought it. Oh well. Someday Ebay will be more user friendly. Either that or gone. The phrase buyer beware is being eliminated by Amazon who is setting the standard for customer service.
Summary: I had been using a camera that needed mini DV's to film basketball games that I then make into highlight videos for my former grade school. This camera works perfectly for what I need (quick zoom, descent quality picture, and no more film)! It was also incredibly important for me that it would work with iMovie and it does with ease. I just plug in the camera, set it to view, and iMovie recognizes it right away. Great so far!
Summary: My son (9 years old) uses this camera on a daily basis to make movies. The picture and sound quality is quite good and you do not hear any noise when using the zoom in/out feature during recording like some other cameras.
Summary: I purchased this camera to replace an older Canon SD camera. It was a nice upgrade at very modest cost, has touchscreen interface and HD recording capability. My only complaint was that the automatic lens cover does not work...this was a flaw in the reconditioning process not worth returning the camera over, but I did grade down one star as a result.
Summary: I am very pleased with this purchase, with the exception that it does not have a memory card, so as I was all ready to film Christmas morning, I had to try to track down a memory card:( Otherwise I love it.
