Summary: Well if there was a bad point about this camcorder it would be something it has'nt got and that's a camera facility but in these days of fast moving development and price crashes that's a moot point. Within minutes of purchase i and the kids were getting great pictures and having loads of fun!
Summary: I have had my camcorder for 2 months now and have used up 5 dv tapes. I'm really pleased with all the results. I was looking for a camcorder where I didn't need to fiddle around with settings before every use and with a small budget I crossed my fingers and went for this one.
Excerpt: I chose the Canon MV800 as a trusted brand name and for the proven quality of its predecessors. Filming a series of 'live' concerts proved a doddle with this camcorder. First things first though, I would recommend purchasing additional battery packs and tapes as the basic boxed version only comes...
Pros: Easy to use, Compact, Excellent Quality, PC Friendly, Lightweight, Economically Priced
Cons: Lack of included accessories, No external sound connections, No 'still picture' option
Excerpt: I have used a lot of Camcorders over the years. The largest of them being the one I carried on my shouler to the one I carry in my pocket. Canon Cameras and Camcorders have always fascinated me. This review is not about any specific model of the camera, but Canon Camcorders in General.
Pros: Canon is very user friendly and simple menus .
Cons: Canon Concentrates only on userfriendliness sacrificing new features
