Great lens but crappy battery
Summary: I only gave it 3 stars because it didn't come with a micro SD card and the battery life on this sucks. With a fully charged battery I can film for about an hour. I would highly suggest you buy an extra battery. Other than that I do like the camera.
Excerpt: While I have only been able to evaluate my Vixia Mini for about three weeks I have seen enough to give it a fair review. people need to know that the camera is tiny, smaller than the average smartphone. That can be good and bad. It slips from fingers very easily.
Pros: Adaptability, Easy to Use, Large Clear LCD
Cons: Limited Zoom, No AC adapter, No image stabilization, Poor In Low Light, Too small
Summary: The camera arrived in an unsealed box, giving me the feeling that the product had been returned and wasn't brand new. It was supposed to have a gift message enclosed, which did come, but was printed incorrectly - the page was cut off so not all of the words appear in the message, so I can't use it.
Summary: I like specially the flip screen, which allows for more angles and selfles without loss of quality, yet the led is too small and dark and you can only have a real idea of the result once you export it to your computer. Of course the images tend to turn out brilliant.
Summary: This may be a really great camera depending on your intended use. However, I was only interested in one thing: Using it in combination with my iPhone or iPad as a live monitor over WiFi, specifically for use as a backup camera in various vehicles.
Love Canon Products, but Ease of use would be nice

Summary: Overall I am a Canon lover and this mini camcorder is fantastic but it is not that intuitive and the soft copy of the users manual is close to 200 pages on the CD that comes with the camcorder -- Not an easy chore to get through that many pages and really don't want to print the manuel out -- would...
