Summary: When I opened the box I was amazed at the size of this camcorder. It is tiny compared with camcorders I have owned in the past. You can't use it straight out of the box as the battery has to be charged first. This brings me to my first gripe; there is no battery charger included.
Summary: I researched Handycams in this price range and this one came out the best. I tried to buy it at PC World Milton Keynes but the salesman was terrible and tried to sell me another model and even asked me to get it myself off the shelf whilst he went back to his hoovering!
Summary: The first thing I noticed was how small it was - far smaller than I was expecting. It was very easy to use and the video quality was very acceptable in this price range. As a hobbiest camera this would be very good.
Summary: The first thing that struck me when I opened the box was how compact this video camera is. It's not so long ago that equipment like this would be two or three times as big, but this is easily held in the hand and fits into a good sized pocket when necessary.
Summary: Fantastic results with this camera. Crystal clear picture - true full HD, not interlaced (there is a definite and marked picture quality difference). Easy to use straight out of the box. I used it to record my daughter's university graduation with excellent results indoors.
Summary: Makes a good video, nice quality images. Battery costs way too much, as it's sold on the printer cartridge business model. I'd recommend it if it was not fatally sabotaged by the designer (or more probably the marketing department) making sure it has a truly terrible zoom control. It is egregious.
Summary: so disappointed, really thought this camera would deliver great video quality. but i guess i was wrong! the low light performance is unbelievably noisy and grainy. warning: do not purchase product unless you can deal with below standard low light performance.
