Summary: I already have one of these, and I needed another for a two camera shoot. I have used these cameras for short films, vlogs, and for filming promo videos for companies in my area. As an up-and-coming videographer, I recommend this camera for someone who can't afford the big professional cameras. They are good for full 1080p HD videography, and are easy to learn and use. The touch screen is a really nice feature.
Summary: The camcorder has been super fantastic. I've been traveling a lot with it and it has survived some pretty rough conditions. I purchased a Rode VideoMic Directional Video Condenser Microphone w/Mount and a wide angle lens with it. Amazing for something compact and travel.
Pros: Have had nothing but good experience with this camera. Compact, amazing quality of picture. Records in low light better than I've seen for a consumer video camera. When people see video played back on HDTV they always ask me about the camera. I have o
Cons: A faster way to transfer video from camera to computer would be nice. USB just takes a while sometimes. I mainly use the 32GB flash drive. I don't use the software to transfer the video...I prefer to do it manually and organized the files myself.
Summary: I bought this for indoor use, and for the price I've never seen a better quality camera for indoor/lowlight use. The camera is easy to set up, and its auto adjustments are near perfect. I didn't like the touch screen at first, but have since come to love how easy it is to do the basic things you do a lot when your working with a handheld camera.
Summary: Its the best. Espicially facinated by the compact size and quality of it. Even the vendor was kind enough to ship it soon and also address my concerns very promptly. i basically bought this for video but always had skipticism at the back of my mind because incase i take pictures, it would come up only 3 Mega pixel. But i realized that pixel is just for extra clarity but the real thing that matters is the lens.
Summary: Length:: 2:43 Mins I decided to shoot a short clip discussing the Canon Vixia HF M31 HD video camera. It is a WORK OF ART to say the least. I have been shooting film cameras since the early 70s and that's how I got my training. I still own my film cameras and shoot film every now and then if required. With the 32 gig internal HDD and the SDHC slot for added storage, you can't beat this M31 camera.
