Excerpt: The files from this camera WILL NOT directly load via transcoding into an Avid Media Composer editor. While the files from the G10 transcoded perfectly, the files from this camera do not. A message appears that the files are not compatible. In order to use the files in Media Composer, some processing of the files must be done by the computer. To me that indicates image degradation.
