Summary: I had the previous model of this camera and hated it because it performed really poorly in low light, so I gambled on this one and it really paid off. It works great in pretty much any light and seems to be very good quality for the money. It goes out of focus on occasion, but that's probably some setting I have wrong. Would defiantly recommend this camera.
Summary: I love this camera! I had one before but, unfortunately, it was stolen. I was glad to be able to find one on eBay. It is a great camcorder and easy to use. I use this a lot with my granddaughter. She is 2 and often tells me to "stop ". So I am able to use it at a distance while using the close-up feature without annoying her and able to record her in a natural setting. It charges quickly and holds a charge for at least several hours.
Summary: This has been a nightmare! I called Apple, researched for hours, and still couldn't find how to make this camera compatible with iMacs and iMovie. Well, it took a call to Canon where I spoke with a very pleasant representative after zero wait! Here's how you do it: 1) Open up iMovie 2) Turn on your camera 3) Display your recorded clip on the camera screen (don't play it just display it) 4) Plug the USB into the computer USB port (no firewire necessary) Voila!!
Summary: This camera is exactly what it said it would be, remember people its a $200 to $300 camera (depending on the sale price) anybody reading complaints/reviews needs to remember that- you get what you pay for, its NOT a professional camera and was never promised as one! Its a great camera for family videos, its standard def recording in a digital format NOT HD.
Summary: This small camera is light, small and perfect, can fit anywhere, takes awesome quality photos and video. We've used it several times now. I would recommend a tri-pod as though the camera is light, your arm gets sore.
