Canon FS100 weighs 9.2oz and measures WxHxD) 2.3 x 2.4 x 4.9 in/58 x 60 x 124mm. Canon FS100 is a light, compact model which enables user to capture stunning video with ease. Canon FS100 allows users to store digital photos onto an SDHC Memory Card. Canon FS100 also features 48x Advanced Zoom. The Advanced Zoom extends the power of zoom and is the longest zoom Canon has ever offered.

The DIGIC DV II Image Processor designed specifically for HD, combined with a 1.07 Megapixel CCD image sensor provides users with Image Stabilization and sharper, clearer images and ensures optimal image quality. The DIGIC DV II Image processor features improved continuous shooting of digital photographs with the FS100. Users can shoot five 1152 x 648 still images per second.

The 2.7" Hi-Resolution Widescreen LCD on the Canon FS100 allows user to see more of what the camcorder is recording. The Canon FS100 Joystick makes using the camcorder easier than ever. The Joystick allows users to control Play, Stop, Fast Forward, and Rewind functions during playback. The Joystick also controls exposure lock and exposure compensation during recording. The Canon FS100’s Program AE mode automatically adjusts the settings to compensate for the conditions and subject and users can choose from Portrait, Sports, Night, Snow, Beach, Sunset, Spotlight and Fireworks modes.

Canon FS100 also comes with Lithium-ion battery which powers the FS100 and users can view the remaining battery life on the display screen.
