C anon camcorders have a long way to go. Unlike Sony for instance, the technology used in Canon's offerings (at the same price point) still needs to evolve. The quality too is seriously in need of reinvention. After having reviewed a few of Canon’s DVD-based, the FS10 only reaffirms this belief. Good product+bad accessory=hellovan expensive paperweight indeed. Adapter must be ordered from the US of A from a supplier never heard by anyone, even friends from the same block his store is located. Canon discontinued producing the part because... you guessed it... faulty electronics. Local Canon outlet said the warranty doesn't carry over to the replacement. Nice. Read more
Not much difference between model FS10 and FS100 ( Excluding internal flash memory of 8GB). Very easy to operate, user freinfly. No image optical stabilization. Disappointed with still picture quality eben my cell phones 1.3 MP pictures are much better than Canon FS10. Read more

Hello all,
I have a Sony viao desktop and I can't get the video files taken with a Canon FS10 and also AV1 files from my digital still Fuji from the pc on to the disc drive of my pc. I'm trying to burn DVd or Cd's. My click to DVD program has not worked since service pack was installed but I have additional software such as Magic Movie edit pro 2,Creator classic and a few others. Any of you have any ideas that may help me along?
I have made tons of Dvd's and Cd's using my older model cameras.

Took many pic with the Canon FS10 want to download pic to my pc for some reason it won't allow me to do so...why is that? Thanks a quick respond will be greatly appreciated.

There are several trade offs which make them rather questionable as a decent lens option, including light loss, sharpness/clarity loss. Keeping those in mind and compensating for them is important when screwing on a third party lens. I don't think there's a fisheye lens for Canon FS10 but most of the Canon EOS and Powershot has fisheye
