The Canon DC210 is an entry level DVD camcorder with a solid set of manual controls, but a serious dearth of connection options. We like the handling and menu operation, for the most part. DVD is inherently easy to use, thus it enjoys a wide popularity with non-techies. But the lack of a USB port can pose some serious problems when it comes to editing or moving the footage off of the disc. If you have a PC, you’re probably fine… as long as it’s relatively new and can ... Read more

This camera takes nice video's for the price. It has a great, if too sensitive, zoom capability. You will enjoy your shooting experience. And it is affordable enough that you can let your kids borrow it and shoot their own world. BUT BUT BUT, it is missing a HUGE feature. It has no USB or FireWire port!!! Transferring your video into your PC will require purchase of additional equipment or software. Although your Computer can play a finalized DVD if the computer has a... Read more

As a avid Crypto fan and Bigfoot enthusiast, I received this for x-mass 07, for tromping thru the woods and trying to get a good pic/video of Bigfoot. The item works exactly as promised. The ZOOM is amazing... 35X and 1000X digital zoom. The even speed zoom in/out feature is easy to use, and the ste... Read more

I love this camcorder. Editing all my movies is not an issue with me as I really just want the original that I have shot. The fact the the VRO format is the latest technology is great because that means that the format will develop and be adopted...I want a camcorder that will be cutting edge for some time...This is a great camera for the money as it can now be found in the mid $200 range...I say...buy and be happy.
