Summary: It's great if you want your entire video to look and sound like it was taken by a mud-skipper.
Pros: It takes video. It takes pictures. It uses SD cards. It has a rechargeable battery that lasts long enough(more than an hour, less than five.)
Cons: The autofocus ruins everything. The device menus are weird and difficult to navigate. The zoom is disappointing. It needs a silly amount of light to work properly. You cannot adjust the amount of light that it takes in. Sound quality is only as good as you are close to the device.
Summary: My 12 year old daughter bought this camera to make her own movies (an "iCarly" craze ???). The only problem is that the sim card was not making proper contact when the door was closed. So, she kept getting the message that the camera was empty.
Summary: The AHDVC03F "Cinecam" sold by Aluratek (and Sharper Image) is terrible. I always talk about pros before cons, but this camera is so bad I needed to get that out of the way in the first sentence. Pros: This camera is very cheap so everyone can afford it. It's black so it goes with everything.
Summary: This camera isn't bad....not great either. Doesn't really seem to shoot in full HD. We also hear a consistent clicking sound in the camera audio. However we don't use the camera sound nor did we intend to when I purchased it.
Summary: You can pretty much ignore the cons, since for $150 you simply cannot beat this camera. The lack of a lens cover or shutter means that it will scratch unless put in case. For someone who wants a spare camera to shoot decent footage in potentially damaging situations, the quality and pricepoint make...
Pros: true 1080p at a very low price point. .mov files for in depth editing on almost any system. Touch screen viewfinder. Playback on camera, HDMI. Can accept a trickle charge from a USB cable plugged into the computer. 12Mpix Max still photos. Photo button can sometimes trigger auto-focus. Shake corr...
Cons: short battery life @ 1080p. MUST read manual to truly understand device. Modern chintzy design, drop it and it's done for. NO CAMERA LENS Shutter, comes with carrying case. Windows Live Essentials Importing from camera is tedious due to the camera giving two separate areas on DSC, one for photo, ...
Summary: takes a regular SD memory card, you should get a big one b/c 1080p takes up a lot of space.
Pros: All the bells and whistles you want/need. Very high quality, small comes in a great case. Also has up to 1080p resolution.
Cons: Knocked off an egg because it doesn't come with an SD card, what kind of cheap mind thought of that gimmick? I buy the camera and then I can't even use it until I buy more stuff. Doesn't even tell you what kind you need. Some people may get vary confused if they don't know about SD cards.
Summary: When you first get the camcorder and insert memory card, don't forget to format it! Once formatted your videos will be in .mov and pictures in .jpeg. Very convenient! When taking video you should have adequate lighting or your images will be grainy... common sense.
Pros: Takes beautiful pictures and videos (VHD and HD). LCD display tilts, which is awesome. Interfaces are perfect (USB, HDMI and component)!!! Battery life is outstanding and recharges in less than two hours from nearly discharged.
Cons: The manual, the company's website and the software that came included. The manual has sections with broken English and it does not explain what the camera functions actually do. VERY ANNOYING! How are you supposed to use a function if you have no idea what it does?!?! The company's website all bu...
