Summary: This item comes with a USB cable only, no actual charging unit. The manual however states that is can be charged via PC USB port. After setting my PC to not go into sleep mode overnight, the battery light remained flashing red/green and upon removing the cable, the unit was completely dead. Reseated the battery (Just in case) and plugged it into an IPad charger... 8 hours later.. Same result. Shipped it back for a replacement. Still waiting on the replacement.
Summary: So far this camera has been very good. It works well. While the 3D isn't great. Still it's good for such a small camera. If you don't have a 3d tv. You will have to see the 3d in Anaglyph. Which is still Okay.If my screen would have been in a little better condition. I would have givin it four stars. Still it doesn't affect the play back or anything. So overall I would say it's still worth the money.
Summary: Tinny, weird interface, and post-processing is a bit of a pain, but it actually worked. Of course, the pricing seems to have jumped by a factor of 3 since I bought it, but it's still pretty solidly functional and quick to use, minus the slow boot time. Requires very good lighting, but otherwise impressive.
Summary: Very good 3D camera for the price. Very good steady shots and vids in day light. Low and chunky in images in low light. Not good at shooting close objects Better watch your images and vids on PC or labtop after coppying using USB cable. Don't watch your vids or images using HDMI cable directly on your 3D TV because it will show very much low in resolution and chunky than the real images and vids are.
A good primer for 3d electronic photography/videography
11 February 2013
Summary: I find the camera to be an excellent introduction to the world of electronic 3d photography/videography. I like the price (inexpensive), its simplicity of use, and the fact its ergonomically designed to be carried much like your own cellphone. So far, the results have been satisfactory. The images are clear and have good color, and the 3d effect I find very effective. So far only used the anaglyphic method of viewing, but eventually will test with 3d HDTV.
Summary: I have been wanting to purchase a 3D camcorder for some time, as I have 2 3D HD TVs, and really enjoy watching 3D movies. This camcorder was, and still is, selling for around $70. So I figured for that price, and the decent ratings, I would try it. I have only had it a couple of months, and have used it some. I am sure once summer arrives, I will use it more. Anyways, this camcorder does film and take still 3D photos, or 2D.
Summary: Be honest. Buying a 3D video cam for less than $100.00 you shouldn't expect much. This is a great cam to keep around and take home pictures or throw in the car "just in case." I've taken a few videos and been satisfied with the image and sound quality for the price. The operation, playback, and transfer of images to computer and TV are very simple. If I were going to a major event, I would not use this camera, but it's great for just day to day things.
