Summary: I previously purchased a similar ZBOX that had an Intel D525 Atom CPU but this version with the Celeron 857 blows it out of the water and is a better value. Intel Atom D525 passmark cpu rating: 686 AMD E-350 passmark cpu rating: 762 Celeron 857 passmark cpu rating: 1178 (Don't be bothered by the fact that the Celeron is clocked slower @ 1.2GHz it performs better) WINDOWS 7 64-bit index scores: CPU: 4.1 RAM: 5.9 GRAPHICS: 4.3 GAMING GRAPHICS: 5.4 PRIMARY HD: 5.9 BASE...

THIS is the Zotac Box you want! Not the Atom based Zotac BB units!

Summary: Very fast compared to any Of the Zotac BB PCs with the Atom processor in it. This maxes out at 16GB, and it will run Windows 7 x64 very well! I only have 8GB in mine, and it can stream HD, play uncompressed music using JRiver's Media Player. In short, its a great HTPC box: small and quiet. Hav had it fir almost 2 years, and has been running withou issue! There is also a "Plus" version: same specs but I think it includes Wireless a/b/g/n.
Summary: I got this a couple months back because I needed a tiny pc to put by my bed as an HTPC. I have a 32" TV on a long swivel mount that this was connected to. I used a Samsung 256 GB SSD and Windows 8 Pro. Installation was simple and no tools needed. The case is held together by 2 thumb screws and another holds in the notebook size hard drive in a clip. There are actually 2 ram slots in the model.
Summary: Wanted to break free of the tower desktop and go for smaller footprint overall...still a little bit worried about heat buildup in small case, but so far it gets very warm, but not hot...should be monitored...has adequate ports and SD card slot works as advertised...picked up my router for wireless right away, bluetooth was also available, and since I am running 4g memory, and Crucial m4 64g 2.5 mm SSD, is pretty quick-about 21 seconds to boot up to log in page..
Pros: Very responsive and above average build quality
Cons: ports for audio and microphone are a little cheap, but work
Summary: I bought this machine to replace my aging Acer Aspire machine. It is a decent machine, with lots of nice features. I installed 16G (2x8G)RAM, 120G SSD hard drive, and 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate. Pros: The intel HM65 mother board supports up to 16G RAM, which makes GIMP & Photoshop running very fast. The Celeron 1.2G dual core runs much faster than Atom 1.8G dual core, and consumes only 3W more power.
Summary: Bought one of these PC's this week - great price really. Has USB-3 on board, built in Bluetooth & Wi-Fi and takes DDR3 SODIMM RAM. However, the chipset and/or BIOS will not complete an install of Windows XP, mine would just not see the HDD during the install though BIOS reported it correctly. Best thing to do is get Win 7, it will run it well, I have just 3Gig ram and it handles tasks well.
