Expert Review

  • Conclusion: If you're willing to put in the work, though, this Zbox is a remarkably able (and connectable) PC for its very small size, and you wouldn't be ashamed to leave it sitting out in your entertainment rack. We bet it would out-sexy your cable/DSL modem or TV set-top box, by a long shot.
  • Pros: Very compact chassis, Runs quietly, Great video-playback performance for a small-form-factor PC, Six USB ports, including two 3.0
  • Cons: Must supply and install your own operating system, No optical drive, Relatively small-capacity hard drive, Included remote uses coin-cell batteries
