Quiet and low power but will not stream HD Netflix

Jan Bottorff, Amazon
8 September 2011
  • Summary: I was hoping to use this for Netflix HD streaming in Windows 7 64-bit. Even after intalling the latest driver and the Silverlight beta 5 (which is supposed to use video decoding offload), I still could not play Netflix HD streaming content. I'm considering a E-350 tiny box now, although another itx motherboard based system I have with a low end socket 775 Intel E3200 processor and AMD 6450 video card in the single PCI-e slot CAN do Netflix HD streaming.

  • Summary: I recently had a chance to compare this Zotac MAG to the to its most popular competitor from Acer (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0030L3ASU?tag=a52-20&ie=UTF8) and I have a bit to say about both. I've broken down my comparison by specific sections, detailing often-overlooked characteristics of computers.

Patrick Johnson, Amazon
14 February 2011
  • Summary: found out last night ( 15th Feb 2011 )that this Zotac will do 3d games. I have a Sony 32EX403 TV none 3d and I updated the driver to the lastest one from nvidia. And I noticed the 3d vision setting in the nvidia control panel. turned it on and gave me the option to use the red/blue glasses. And it worked. Not as good as 3d screen and the high end glasses but it worked. Played GTA san anderas and it was ok, DRIV3R worked even better...
