I LOVE IT!

Summary: This computer is just down right awesome! If you are in the market for a new desktop get this! I was always cautious buying an all in one computer if you have a tight spot to put it in then it wont suit your need, it is wide and you need room to open side disk drive. It burns DVD's and CD's and plays blueray I have a lap top and an older PC and since I bought this "touch screen" I have barely used either of my other to computers.
Summary: After using this computer a few months the TV tuner quit working. A message "All TV tuners are currently in use" appears in the dialog box as the application tries to start. Sony online "help" could not give me an answer to the problem, but wanted to sell me a service contract instead. They also claimed I have a virus causing the problem that "no anti-virus program could detect".
Summary: Bought this computer(burgundy)last fall (2010)and have had nothing but headaches. Have called Sony Support (8) times and I still have problems. The most troublesome issue right now is that the computer won't wake up after being in sleep mode. So to get it back on I have to press and hold the on button and reboot. Haven't had to chkdisk for awhile so there has been some progress.
Summary: This machine is absolutely phenomenal. The boot up is fast and with 8gigs of RAM I can run multiple screens without so much as a hiccup. When I do need to phone Sony to learn how something functions I get generally good service. Unlike my experience with Toshiba my experience with Sony has been great. I certainly wish that I had purchased a Sony laptop instead of the Toshiba that I purchased earlier.
Summary: Based upon reviews of a consumer magazine's ratings, I purchased what was rated as the "top" performer of the 24" all-in-one desktop computer systems. That computer was flawed from the very beginning, the fan ran constantly, the system was cumbersom to operate, and I was forced to send the recommended system back to the supplier. I then purchased as a replacement, the second rated 24" all-in-one which was the Sony Vaio.
Summary: Bought this to replace a laptop I was using when working away from home. With the wireless wifi, keyboard and mouse, there is only one wire needed to plug in for power. Fan is not too loud and the speakers are fine. TV tuner is built in and works well. The touchscreen works well and the kids love "finger painting". And best of all? It has hdmi to hook up my xbox 360! Woohoo! I'm happy and satisfied. Best price was through Amazon and the shipping was amazingly quick.
Summary: Here is an update to this review which led to an upgraded review of the machine: My machine was repaired by a technician sent by SONY. He was extremely competent and replaced the motherboard. The machine now works well and I am enjoying using it. Given the lack of a backup screen, I am pursuing backup for data and other techniques that would allow access in case something happens in the future. This is a vulnerable design.
Summary: I love Sony, bought this PC on Amazon due to it's lower price (compared to Sony.com) and availability. Researched mainly against HP and Apple. Happy with my choice. It comes on a neat box that includes the PC, wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, it DOES include a remote control (this is not specified on Sony.com (excpet for a photo) nor Amazon.com), 4 batteries, power cord and a couple of useless manuals. I upgraded RAM to 12 gb 'cause I thought it was a nice touch.
Summary: Hello, I have been wanting this PC for almost a year. It finally went on sale and I grabbed it. I was very satisfied with it until I discovered a problem copying large files to any connected USB devices. In my case, I have to transfer large video images. When I tried to copy them to a USB drive, it would lock up Windows 7. Google Searches seem to indicate this is a common problem and many hardware vendors are coming up with bios patches.
