The Shuttle X50 is an All-in-One portable netbook with an Intel Atom 330 CPU and Intel 945GC + ICH7 chipset. It also supports up to 2GB of DDR II memory, Intel GMA 950 256bit 3D 400 MHz core and DirectX 9 3D hardware acceleration. It also has Dynamic Video Memory Technology (DVMT) 3.0 for supports up to 224MB of video memory. Audio support is via two 2W stereo speaker with Realtek ALC662 5.1 Channel High Definition audio codec. Connectivity is via RTL8111C Ethernet, IEEE 802.3u 100Base-T specification compliant and 10/100 MB/1GB/s LAN. Its storage interface is a 160GB SATAII 5400rpm (support up to 600GB). The unit has one D-sub port and Kensington lock for security. It has an integrated 1.3 megapixel web cam, an electret condenser microphone, a 4 in 1 card reader (support SD/MMC/MS/XD), comes with a stylus pen and has a power-on button in its left side interface. It also supports 5 USB ports, LCD button, DC input for power supply, Audio line-in and out, and microphone input. The X50 supports Windows XP Home Edition operating system, and comes bundled with Shuttle ezCam and Norton Internet Security 2009 software. The X50 requires a 65W power supply (100-240V AC) power adapter and comes with a Quick Guide, Driver CD, and a power cord. The Shuttle X50 measures 391.3x327x36mm and weighs 3.6kg.

Features

The X50 features a 15.6-inch intuitive touch interface for responsive operations that allows users to navigate their way with their finger or stylus pen. It also features a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam and microphone that allows users to take pictures or stream live images across the internet in real time chatting. It also features a stand that can be pulled up to serve as a carrying handle. Users can select bending angels from 0-180 degrees to set whatever angle works for the environment. The stand on the rear can be removed, unveiling four VESA mounting screw holes that can be used for mounting arms and other mounting devices from a variety of manufacturers. It features functionalities that allow for instant messaging capabilities to keep users connected with families, friends and social networking. All components and materials of the X50 meet the standards of RoHs. Packaged with ENERGY STAR 5.0 qualified power adapter, it draws 30 watts of power. The Shuttle I.C.E heat pipe inside dissipates heat away and keeps the system cool with astonishing low noise at 22dB.

    What is the Max Ram supported? I saw a U_Tube training vid > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Jw5lP75A84 & that guy said it would take 2 slots of 2 Gig each, but Manuf. website says 2gig max...? thanks j
