Summary: This is a an excellent slim PC which, when coupled with 4GB of RAM and an SSD runs fast, quiet and cool. However, be aware that the integrated Jmicron PCI express gigabit express ethernet adapter will only connect at gigabit speeds when connected to certain switches and routers. So far I have been able to get it to connect at full speed with the Netgear WNR3500L router and the Netgear GS608 switch.
Summary: I've bought three of these this year, so it's too early to write about longterm reliability. For a simple browsing and word processing PC, it's fine. It was also able to stream Netflix in 1080p to my TV just fine, with little-to-no stuttering or stalling. My typical process is to install WinXP Pro/SP3, make a Ghost image, install a another software component, make a Ghost, etc.
Summary: I bought this to replace my aging domain server, a circa 2003 Shuttle with a single core 1Ghz Athlon processor running Windows Server 2003. My son wants me to run a Minecraft server. While it worked on the old box, it was maxed out with SQL Server, a bunch of data collection apps, and with Active Directory and DNS.
Summary: I bought this little PC to replace a Lenovo "nettop" I have been running for a single purpose 24/7 for about 18 months. My Lenovo was much smaller, but it had a fan that only got louder with the passage of time. It lives about 8 feet away from my bed. This is the only consumer PC that you can buy that does not have a fan.
Summary: I got these because we needed three computers for our warehouse for the workers to scan barcodes into a program with. There is no AC or heat out there so I needed something that would not run overly hot.. My fear of a standard PC with fans would be the fans would get gunked up with dust and stop working. I grabbed the 4gig memory chip and the crucial 64 gig HD with this box as well.

Summary: Pros: - Super quiet. Since it comes an Intel Atom processor built into the motherboard, it doesn't need a fan. So no fan noise on this machine. It does run warm, but not hot. - Small footprint. It's similar in size to a Mac mini, though the footprint is rectangular rather than square like the Mini. At just 1.5 inches on its smallest dimension, it can sit on your desk and not look obtrusive.
Summary: I can't say enough good things about these little guys. The price to performance ration is high. I've deployed about 4 of these in different environments and have yet to see one peter out. I primarily use them in manufacturing environments because I can't have fans getting gunked up and dying. The fact that you can put 2 drives in is just gravy.
Fanless, easy to install, 2nd SATA connector for optical drive or 2nd hard-drive

You have the option of putting a 2.5" SATA drive in the optical drive bay but it only comes with 1 hard-drive mounting bracket. Bought 4GB of DDR3 204pin RAM for $20 Installed 80GB HD from a broken ASUS nettop. I installed an old DVD burner from an external slim drive. Installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.
Summary: I bought one of these to replace my itunes server for my apple airs. I wanted something that I could leave running 24 hours a day and consumed very little energy. This CPU does both plus no fan to wear out. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my frontroom, where I do most of my internet surfing and game playing. What you should know. Size of componets are very important as these CPUs are very small. Here are the componets I put in both units I bought.
