When Space is Precious

The Ergonomist, B&H Photo
  • Excerpt: We purchased this first and foremost because of its size. Its used as a work station in a crowded environment and it replaced a tower that had to be kept in a remote location which made access and ventilation a problem. As with the other Lenovo Windows 7 computers on my network, setup was automatic. Plug in the Cat 6 cable, turn it on, and run the network wizzard. We capture large image files through USB devices and require fast acquisition and a high quality display.
  • Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use
  • Cons: No Optical Drive

Tiny - Perfect Fit!

,, TigerDirect.com
  • Summary: Researched for a refresh at our management training center , in our callcenter facility. The footprint was perfect and the power usage was minimal. Ability for multiple screens was a big plus. Exploring the same tiny solution for our Tier 2 and Tier 3 level support staff. Very recommended!

Outstanding PC

Tony, B&H Photo
  • Excerpt: This PC is tiny, quiet and a great performer. It came with 8GB of memory, and can be upgraded to 16. There is available a 158 page User Guide (pdf) that looks at though it covers everything you would want to know. Only limitation is that the storage is 128GB of solid state. Fast, but you have to watch what you leave on the C: drive. Best used on a network with Network Attached Storage. It would be a great Home Theater PC if it had S/PDIF output and IR input.
  • Pros: Powerful, Quiet, Tiny, Very Fast
  • Cons: Kbdmouse Not Wireless, No Ir Input, No Spdif, No Spdif Audio Output

Good price, fast machine, 1TB hard drive and Windows 7 64 bit make a winning combo

SOBnola, Amazon
28 July 2014
  • Summary: I've finally found a new PC that doesn't run as slow as an IBM PC XT... After 2 unsuccessful attempts to replace my dead HP Pavilion laptop with a new HP laptop, then an HP desktop, the Lenovo ThinkCentre seems to be the lucky 3rd strike. Besides having more USB ports (6 USB 3 and 2 USB 2) than the HP desktop (which I couldn't set up and HP support expected me to wait on the phone with them for over an hour while I repeated the same useless steps I'd already taken to get...

Works as New Server: Easy and Quiet

Neilah Desiree, Amazon
12 July 2014
  • Summary: Easy and so amazingly fast. I love the feature of attaching to wall and how compact it is. Took a bit of planning to make sure that I could still see to plug in accessories. I have wireless keyboard, looking at wireless monitor(s). It is very quiet and plan on running full time. I cannot think of a complaint. Received quickly and in nice package. Comes with mounting bracket and DVD attached. Just plug in cables/power and off you go.

A Solid, Fast Computer with World-Class Customer Service

Bruce J. Harris, Amazon
11 July 2014
  • Summary: I have only had this computer two weeks, but no one has reviewed it yet. I am very pleased and would buy it again. The 1 TB SSD (Solid State Drive) came with Windows 7 on one large C: partition. Disks were included to install Windows 8, which I decided to do. That, and the free upgrade to 8.1 took hours. I let the 8.1 upgrade run overnight. Eventually it finished and the system worked fine.

Easiest install yet

The Ergonimist, B&H Photo
24 June 2014
  • Excerpt: Purchased as a replacement for an administrator's work station on a small network. This came out of the box, plugged in, found the network, installed all needed updates, and loaded all of our mission-critical software with as much effort as it took to read to this point. We've been networked since 1985 and this is the first time we've had a totally seamless equipment swap. Its been on line for about a month as of this writing and the machine has done nothing but work.No...

Great for Workstation power user

Mark Anvoots, Amazon
23 May 2014
  • Summary: I just bought a second one of these. The first I added 4gb ram for total of 8 and swapped out the SATA drive with an 750GB SSD drive. Boots fast to the domain and is up and ready to log in in less than 15sec. It handles 10-15 excel windows, RDP sessions, Large outlook database open and numerous other apps running without a hitch. If you are looking for a powerful, versatile, small footprint workstation alternative, this is your machine.
