Summary: I find that Lenovo computers to be rather finicky. At our church, it is the primary brand that our executive pastor selects, and I know that there have been some returns and repairs, but eventually, Lenovo has come through and eventually rectified things.
Summary: I got this because it had USB 3 and I already had a plugable usb 3 docking station that I use with my laptops. This just fit right in. I can use one output for every thing - keyboard, mouse, display, sound. much less clutter. I simply unplug from laptop and plug into this one.
Summary: First thing I did when I got it was wipe windows 8 from the drive. That was a HUGE process though since they lock the drive so I had to do a few hours of research to figure out how to remove the legacy setting in dos, or whatever its called.
Summary: I bought this to use as a networked Home Media gizmo... I moved most of my movies and stuff on to it and use VLC to play them. Windows 8 takes a few minutes to figure out... drag your mouse left right up down corner to corner to help figure it out.
Summary: Load of Windows 8 from factory had terrible performance and was nearly unusable. After reload of OS machine performs well for what I need. Hardware appears adequate so it might have been a bad image from the factory. Lenovo support was NOT helpful with their only suggestion being to return the unit.
