Did not work well for Slingbox streaming

C. Dobre, Amazon
28 February 2014
  • Summary: Bought this specifically for Slingbox streaming but video was very choppy at 1080p and even at the lowest setting. CPU would max out at 100%, even tried a fresh install of Windows 7 as well as Windows 8 but CPU usage was still topping out. Had no issues with playback on 1080p MKV files but for my purpose it didn't get the job done.

POS

lineyt99, Amazon
9 February 2014
  • Summary: I bought this to hook up to my tv for two purposes - playing DVDs and connecting into my work server. When it actually works it does these two things fine. However, I am constantly getting a black screen. I'm not enough of a tech person to know if this is the machine or a software problem but either way this thing is completely worthless. I've also spent hours installing updates. I'm writing this review from my ipad and will never buy another non-apple product again.

Video and wireless suck

V. OSCAR, Amazon
3 May 2013
  • Summary: I connected this Q190 to my 32" TV and the video goes out at times, sometimes it takes over a minute to get the video back, also the WIFI sucks, other devices get the WIFI signal well, even my PS3 that is next to this PC gets the signal well, but the PC doesn't get it right. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Lenovo Q190 populated with liars and nitwits

Rainwolf127, Amazon
11 March 2013
  • Summary: I purchased the Q190 primarily as a music (media Player) for home surround sound. Lenovo claims to support via HDMI for 7.1 Channel Surround, lossless audio, Bit streaming, Dolby HD, Dolby DTS, Intel HD 3000 Graphics but there is a problem. None of it works. I tested the machine at the Intel site and Intel says the HD graphics are the 2000 series (half the processing capabilities) and NO higher level audio processing seems to be taking place!

Amazon is breaching the laws by advertising something and then shipping something else to clients

Ben Sutton, Amazon
7 March 2014
  • Summary: I just send this e-mail to Amazon: I received the package today. Amazon doesn't live up to what it advertised and this will be brought to a court of law if you do not deliver what I paid for: 1) Please confirm via replying to this e-mail that you are shipping the handheld Lenovo keyborad as advertised by Amazon and which is one of the reasons I purchased from Amazon.co.uk!

Disappointment

Henrik Petersen, Amazon
11 December 2013
  • Summary: When I saw the advertisment for this product, it showed an image of a wireless keyboard. Great was my disappointment when the package just contained a wirred keyboard. I think it's bad marketing!

Don't Even Think About It !

Blair 49, Amazon
16 November 2013
  • Summary: Where to begin ? Well firstly it functions at a snails pace probably because it has a low end processor designed for budget laptops so consequently it took 4 hours to download and install windows 8.1 with quite a fast internet connection. And please don't even get me started on the Windows 8 OS it is simply deadful actually it is quite beyond belief, a shotgun marriage of wannabee Android aps and the ancient MS DOS operating system that underpins Windows.
