Missing remote

Camilo Bravo, Amazon
9 July 2014
  • Summary: This is a pretty decent computer. Low stars are because mine came with a regular keyboard and mouse, and not the remote!

Not Just For Entertainment - Makes a Great Work Computer

Hal B "Hal B", Amazon
22 June 2014
  • Summary: I bought this to use for an IP based surveillance system. Since most people seem to be using mini computers for TV streaming I was skeptical about using it for anything else - a desktop replacement for example. Pros: It works better than an older tower system I have with Windows 7 for my purpose. I see no reason it why it would not make an excellent computer for everyday use.

Did not work well for Slingbox streaming

C. Dobre, Amazon
28 February 2014
  • Summary: Bought this specifically for Slingbox streaming but video was very choppy at 1080p and even at the lowest setting. CPU would max out at 100%, even tried a fresh install of Windows 7 as well as Windows 8 but CPU usage was still topping out. Had no issues with playback on 1080p MKV files but for my purpose it didn't get the job done.

Great machine - extremely expensive.

Dave Kennedy (ReL1K), Amazon
28 January 2014
  • Summary: This is a great machine and I recommend it. I would purchase directly from Lenovo as this one is way more expensive than: [...] There are three models, and the one listed here is the middle-ground one which is listed at $335.20.

Good low profile PC

Discofun, Amazon
18 January 2014
  • Summary: I bought this to use as a networked Home Media gizmo... I moved most of my movies and stuff on to it and use VLC to play them. Windows 8 takes a few minutes to figure out... drag your mouse left right up down corner to corner to help figure it out.

My Lenovo Q190 Experience

unholygrail1, Amazon
17 January 2014
  • Summary: I am an over the road truck driver by trade, who needs a wifi capable computer in order to run my business. Laptops have sufficed over the years, but I was ready to try something different. Knowing that the Q190's hdmi would feed my fancy 32" lcd tv in the truck, including sound, I decided to give it a try. The one thing I really liked was the super compact size and the included mounting bracket.

Exactly the thing for a media device

Travis Dawson, Amazon
7 January 2014
  • Summary: I love this thing based on the design. No lags or skips when streaming video. Like the 1 TB drive. I would have liked to give this 4-1/2 stars, but didn't want it to downgrade to four, since it is a little louder than I'd like. Only really shows up in a quiet room, which isn't really when I'm using it. I hit the power button to sleep it when not using it and it comes back quickly when I do want it to.
